Latest legislative proposals on illegal immigrants
The Disaster of 2011
As expected, the flood of legislative proposals on illegal immigrants has broken off with a formidable flow in the wake of the 2011.
There was concluded in January, had just barely opened the session in the senates and houses of representatives of states, and as the statistics of the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) reported that there had been more than 600 resolutions and anti-immigrant measures.

It is anticipated that more than 14 states follow the lead of Arizona ignored the issue of citizenship to children of illegal immigrants and that copies of SB 1070 extending the discussion in more than 18 state legislatures.
The enthusiasm of the anti-immigrant
The enthusiasm of the anti-immigrant with the trend is such that the organization Americans for Legal Immigration, ALIPAC, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, launched a campaign called the Battle of the States 2011 to cooperate with the adoption of measures that motivate mass exodus of illegal immigrants.
Data collected by ALIPAC indicate that measures have already been filed against the state "illegal" in: Arkansas, South Carolina, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire , New York, New Mexico, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming.
During 2010 there were more than 1,400 bills and resolutions state against immigrants with the result of laws passed 208 and 138 resolutions. Ten additional proposals were vetoed.
To understand the extent of anti-immigrant environment along and across the country must take into account that the measures were passed in 46 states and the District of Columbia.
In 2010, 21 states adopted 26 legislative measures to prevent illegal immigrants could obtain driver's licenses or other identification. In 11 states passed 17 laws to restrict immigrants' access to higher education or other educational services. In 20 states passed 27 laws to prevent illegal immigrants succeed in employment or other work-related benefits.
